Studio Lighting Write up

In this unit we were tasked with taking three different kinds of pictures using studio lights, one of the pictures was normal 2 to 1 lighting, then we did dramatic lighting, then mixed lighting. For 2 to 1 lighting we are just trying to take a picture with the perfect lighting, so it was a lot of trial and error trying to find the right position for the lights but in the end i think my picture turned out pretty well. Considering my model it might be impossible to take a bad picture, but my goal was to make Luke look as attractive as possible. Save to say I was successful. When i was taking my picture for dramatic lighting my goal was to make Luke look kind of bad ass. I wanted to make him look like he could defiantly beat you up, but also like a guy that would ask you if he could pet your dog, when your on a walk. Mixed lighting was my favorite out of these three. Mostly because we and Luke went outside and just had a nice modeling sesh. In my picture i had the sun setting over top of Lukes head and the studio light right in his face. I wanted this to show that even tho darkness may be coming, there will always be a light.
